| Russian advertisers won trophies in USA |
Global Advertising Strategies, an international, full-service marketing, advertising and interactive agency, organized International Russian-language Competition Advision Awards® in New York for the fourth time. This year over three hundred submissions – a record number in the history of AdVision – competed for the title of best Russian-language advertisement. The awards gala was held on March 4th, 2010 in New York’s famous jazz club B. B. King.

The 8-th of March is an American invention. The International Women’s Day was born in USA on February 28, 1909 following a declaration by the Socialist Party of America. Nowadays the most politically correct country doesn’t seem to celebrate it. Except for the immigrants from some other continents like Russian-Americans who made florists good business today. Does the IWD still carry the “socialist idea” or it’s just the first holiday of spring not to be ashamed of while buying flowers for the loved ones?
