You can win the title of the best Super Mapper in the world; you can win big money from UNICEF but fail to get your visa and stay home… A 24-year-old Filipino software developer has won the first-ever Google Map Maker Global Competition, the prize of $50,000 and all-expenses paid trip to the Google Super Mappers 2010 conference in Switzerland. Meanwhile, his visa to Switzerland was denied by Philippine authorities.

Global Advertising Strategies, an international, full-service marketing, advertising and interactive agency, organized International Russian-language Competition Advision Awards® in New York for the fourth time. This year over three hundred submissions – a record number in the history of AdVision – competed for the title of best Russian-language advertisement. The awards gala was held on March 4th, 2010 in New York’s famous jazz club B. B. King.
