MARKET Native American World Eskimo-Indian Olympics
DESCRIPTION From time immemorial, circumpolar peoples have gathered in small villages to participate in games of strength, endurance, balance and agility. Dancing, story telling and audience participation took place with friendly competition, entertainment and laughter. The hosts provided food and lodging, and visitors brought news from surrounding villages, challenges and friendship. The World Eskimo-Indian Olympics seeks to replicate this.
