Summer gets Irish colors!

Who says the Irish have fun once a year, on St. Patrick’s Day? If they really do, the Guinness will get spoiled as well as the spirit of one of the largest ethnic population of USA! Always joyful, the Irish-Americans keep their positive mood despite the tough reality of the depression times. And number of this summer Irish events prove it enough. We have counted about 50 various summer festivals, fairs, games and concerts all around United States which may get your attention in both cases: if you just want to have fun, or care to promote your business, products or services. Take your chances!

Here are just the highlights, help yourself to look for the Irish event close to your neighborhood in our database! It is summertime, and it should be of Irish color!

June 27-28: Time for Brooklyn, NY and New Haven, CT to “Go Green”. Both cities will hold Irish Festivals which tend to attract thousands of weekenders and provide them with the best of Irish music, dance, sports and culture.

July 10-12: The 3-days events cover Colorado and Illinois. Littleton, CO with the 15th Colorado Irish Festival and Chicago with the famous Irish Fest open the Irish-July schedule featuring the Cultural Village of “Leadville Irish” and best of the best in Irish music.

July 24-26: The Great American Irish Festival comes to Utica, NY again gathering 27 most recognizable Irish bands on its stage and proving its title of the best Irish music happening in United States. In Cleveland, OH the Irish Cultural Festival will take place for the 27-th time with steadily grown attendance figures which last year counted over 30,000.

August 7-9: Montana Gaelic Cultural Society goes with the annual “An Ri Ra” Montana Irish Festival in the city of Butte and if you’d like to find out what the “An Ri Ra” means you should be there. Another one 3-days event on this weekend will happen in La Crosse, Wisconsin and besides ethnic Irish dance and music features the Irish Market and the Wee Folks Area.

September 5-7: The first weekend of September is blooming with Irish-Americans festivities! Rochester, NY and Newport, RI both open their Irish Festivals on September 5, gathering thousands of attendees each. Long Grove, IL calls it The Irish Days, Kingston, NY – The Hooley on the Hudson.

September 19: The whole bunch of “Green events” bursts out in New Jersey on this particular day! Among them: 2009 Shamrock Festival in Gloucester, NJ; Irish Festival on The Jersey Shore in Holmdel, NJ and Sea Girt, NJ. On the same day the 3-rd Irish Festival will happen in Greeley, NE.

September 20-27: Irish events cover Coney Island, NY (Great Irish Fair of New York – 09.20-21), Wildwood, NJ (North Wildwood Irish Festival – 09.24-27), Kalamazoo, MI (Irish Fest – 09.25-26), Louisville, KY (Louisville Irish Fest – 09.26-27)
