8. Raise the Red Lantern in SHANGHAI
The Chinese New Year Festival in Shanghai is celebrated usually on the first day of the year of the lunar calendar. The festival is usually celebrated in late January or February. On the Traditional Chinese New Year Calendar of Events the Lantern Festival or Yuanxiao, falls on the final, or fifteenth day.
