Can you explain the benefits of using ethnic events to reach target markets?

It has become harder and harder to reach ethnic markets through traditional marketing platforms because of the ever-changing media environment. Thus, non-traditional marketing vehicles have become the ideal way to engage with certain markets. It is important to connect with your target market by being a part of its culture, tradition and community; an ethnic event is most beneficial because it is one of the few methods of directly interacting with your key audience. This is important because it provides a good mix of marketing and positive public relations as well as a way to connect with people from your target market by showing that your company can speak their language and understand their heritage. An ethnic event allows your company to have face time with festival participants with a positive and jovial environment that encourages participants to explore companies and their offerings.
