Leader Deanna Shoss brings over 20 years of marketing experience in the government, commercial and not-for-profit arenas. Her deep knowledge derives from overseeing dozens of annual events and exhibits for the world's busiest airport, to developing public relations/community building training manuals and turnkey ‘tool kits' for McDonald's Owner/Operators across Eastern New England, to leading joint marketing and advocacy efforts as the top leader for two premier trade associations, the 300 member Newbury Street League in Boston and the nearly 200 member League of Chicago Theatres.
Shoss has a Masters from DePaul University's School for New Learning focusing on creating multicultural events and programs for international audiences. This ‘anthropology meets marketing' approach, honed by years of creating programs at O'Hare, a literal metaphor for globalization, brings a keen sensitivity to creating events, programs and processes that are inclusive and embracing of all.
Awards and Honors include being recognized in 2005 "Who's Who in Chicago Business" by Crain's Chicago Business, Airports Council International Excellence in Communications (3 Awards) and a Special Recognition Award from the Tuskegee Airmen "DODO" Chapter.
